Be safe and have a wonderful mid term break everyone!

Fourth class have been invited to take part in a Children’s Art Competition as a part of the Festival of Russian Culture (11th – 18th February 2018). The competition is based on The Goldfish, a story by the famous Russian writer Alexander Pushkin.
The story helped to inspire the students in fourth class to design and create their artwork.
You can read the story here – THE GOLDFISH for Children competition
I have been trying lots of new foods in school. I have been making toast and cooking rice. Here are some recipes I have tried.
This is a fable that I wrote about a horse and a bear. A fable is a short story that has a moral at the end. I read lots of fables by Aesop. He was a famous Greek writer from long ago. I hope you enjoy my story.
Today we had a ‘Show and Tell’ in our class. We got to bring in something that is special to us and that we love to play with at home. In class we showed our special item to the whole class and told everyone why it is special, and why we like playing with it.
Many of us have teddy bears and other cuddly toys which are special to us. Many of our special items were presents we received from family and friends. We are all very lucky to have such lovely toys to play with at home.
