We decorated the hall with the help of Ms. Spring. Ms. Spring and a group of pupils from our class helped out Ms. Spring, to make the hall look magnificent for everyone to see. There are many diffrent decorations in the hall each of them were very nice. Ms. Spring was proud of the hard work we did when we decorated the hall for the concert. Everyone who came enjoyed the concert and loved the hard work that was put into the preparations of the decorations.

Well done to Orla Fahy who was one of 30 winners in the Grace Nolan Letter Writing Competition. There were 66,000 entries from all over Ireland so it was a brilliant achievement. Her letter has been published in the Grace Nolan Book for 2009. All of 6th class were treated to a visit to the Helix for the awards ceremony where we all had a great day out. The children will soon be posting their thoughts on the event. Photos will soon be updated on the Grace Nolan website: www.gracenolan.com

We worked as teams to build and paint our lighthouses. We displayed one of them on science day. We had great fun making them and learned a lot.
