The boys and girls in senior infants created wonderful bonnets for our parade today. I was so impressed with the creativity, effort and use of recyclable materials by all the children. I know they all worked really hard on their bonnets. Well done senior infants!
Well done to all the boys and girls for creating such wonderful bonnets this year! Thank you all for putting in so much effort, it was great fun showing them off at our Easter Bonnet Parade!
Happy Easter everyone!
Siluan, Lorchán, Thomas, Ciarán, Michael and Seán had so much fun today taking part in the Easter Bonnet Parade. They loved wearing their beautiful bonnets and parading together on the stage. Well done boys! You were excellent as always.
In Third Class we took part in a special project called Mind Rising. This was an exciting project in which we used Minecraft to create our very own 1916 exhibition. Our classes were split into different groups and we each were responsible for creating our own building. You can have a look at a short video of the world that we created below.
You can also see a presentation of our project below which explains a little more about what we did and learned throughout the project. We hope you enjoy looking at this as much as we enjoyed creating it!

In German class we learned about ‘Ostern’ in Germany and Austria this week. 3rd to 6th class pupils learned a Easter song and did a quiz about German Easter traditions. Pre-schooler, as well as Junior and Senior Infants learned all about the ‘Osterhase’, ‘Ostereier’ and ‘Osternest’. Frau Clarke and the pupils from German class would like to wish you all ‘Frohe Ostern’!
