Junior Violin Class
Junior Infants started violin lessons with Ms. Doyle before Christmas. They have enjoyed learning lots of songs and dances to help them to remember the names of all of the different parts of the violin. They have also been practicing how to hold the bow and the violin properly. It has been a lot of fun and the children have been working very hard. We hope you enjoy the pictures!
Our Remembrance Service
On Tuesday the 17th of December the annual Service of Rememberance was held in the hall. This is a time when we remember all of the members of our school community that have passed away during tear. Fr. Jerry attended the service and noted what a lovely service it was. The service was also attended by parents and other relations.

Our Lady’s Hospice – Foundation Day
On Friday 24th May it was Foundation Day in Our Lady’s Hospice, Harolds Cross. We helped out on the day over in the hospice. The choir and the orchestra went over and helped celebrate the day. We sang for two masses and the orchestra played at one of the masses. We had a really lovely day and the staff at the hospice looked after us so well. We had a break between the two masses and we were allowed to play out in the Rose Garden. We really enjoyed singing for the patients and the staff over there.
National Children’s Choir Concert 2013
On Wednesday May 1st we performed in the national Children’s Choir concert in the National Basketball Arena. It was just the children from 4th and 5th class. From September we had been learning a repertoire of 18 songs in our classes. The songs were in a range of languages – English, Irish, Latin, French and Italian. We had great fun! Each term we had a rehearsal with a few other schools in Terenure. In 4th class our favourite song was ‘The Spiritual Medley’. On the night of the concert we were very nervous, the crowd was huge!! We really enjoyed singing on stage and we will never forget it.
Córfheile 2012

We recieved excellent feedback about our performances and really enjoyed listening to the other schools. Here are some pictures of the choir and recorder ensemble in action.
