One of St.Clare’s most important awards is given to someone in 5th class who perfectly embodies what it means to be a kind, caring and diligent child. We are proud to let this person represent the school on a national basis.
This year, we had such a tough time deciding who would win this award, that we decided to share it among two deserving recipients.
Big congratulations to you both!
We, at St. Clare’s, take great pride in our school sports programs and have had great success over the last number of years. Of course, none of that would have been possible without the incredible commitment and attitude from the boys and girls.
Awards were received for Best Junior and Senior Sports Persons and Best Junior and Senior Player in Hurling, Camogie, Football and Athletics.
Congratulation to those who won and keep up the great work over the summer!
Congratulations to all the boys and girls who received prizes this year! They are wonderful role models for the younger children and we are immensely proud of all the hard work they have showed.
Prizes were awarded for Pupil of Year, Kindness, Courtesy and Consideration, Best Worker, Most Improved, Gaeilge and Handwriting.
A fantastic evening of entertainment was provided for parents and friends at our annual summer concert. Second Class along with our ASD class kicked off the concert with a wonderful performance of “The Kings Cloaks”. This was followed by a fabulous medley of songs, both old and new, from Junior Infants to Fifth Class. Sixth Class really stepped up the standard this year with their production of “The Greatest Showman”. The night was completed with an outstanding performance by the orchestra and choir.
Senior infants had so much fun today for their Teddy Bear’s picnic. It was a lovely, sunny day and they loved playing together with their teddies and sitting around for a picnic together!
We had a thoroughly enjoyable sports day. We were delighted that the rain kept away for the day!
We had so much fun at Sports Day today. What a great start to the week!
